ÉCOLÉA TECHNOLOGIE is specialized in the design and manufacture of oil presses – oil extractors designed for producers, farmers, or industrial manufacturers looking to transform oilseeds, nuts, or even insects into oil and/or press cake, easily and in complete autonomy.
We offer a turnkey solution for setting up a complete oil mill: from equipment supply (from pressing to bottling, including settling and filtration), to services and even training regarding oil and press cake.

Our expertise
Our core expertise lies in mastering the screw pressing process for oilseeds and nuts.
We have therefore designed versatile electric oil presses that provide the best possible extraction, while preserving the raw material and retaining its nutritional value. This achievement is the result of many years of design work, studies on material selection, testing, and analysis.
Our History
The first small-scale oil press was designed in 2008 to support projects aimed at adding value to seeds from various agricultural sectors by processing them into oil and press cake.
Following the development of this cold oil press, a website was created to showcase it. The strong interest in our technology generated numerous inquiries through this platform.
The idea of creating a company entirely dedicated to this activity naturally arose. In 2014, after leading a working group consisting of designers, eco-designers, and regulatory bodies, ECOLÉA TECHNOLOGIE was founded. It quickly established its place as a French manufacturer of professional oil presses for the food and cosmetics markets.
Our Activity
Our main activity is therefore the sale and distribution of Oil presses and peripheral equipment (bottling machines, pneumatic feeding systems, filters, settling tanks, labeling machines, etc.)
ÉCOLÉA TECHNOLOGIE also offers various services: custom pressing, market research, and engineering.
In 2017, ÉCOLÉA TECHNOLOGIE created its own brand: Huilerie d’ARLÉA, dedicated to the finished products (flour, food-grade and cosmetic oils) produced using the ÉCOLÉA 25.2 or 100.2 oil presses.
This approach has allowed us to gain valuable perspective as end-users of our own equipment. It gives us a deeper understanding of our customers’ environments and operational constraints, enabling us to continuously improve our offering.
Today, the company is fully equipped to support and advise its clients on packaging choices, organic certification, marketing strategies, and regulatory compliance.
